It's finally time to hold the 1st ARSHI annual conference! Together with the organizers, the ARSHI board has developed a pandemic-compliant virtual concept for this meeting, which will be held on 04-05 March 2022. On behalf of the ARSHI board and organization committee we would like to welcome you to this digital format of meeting. Of course, we would actually like to greet you all live and personally, but due to the Omciron pandemic, we had to decide on the safest planning option, which is currently virtual. We have already experienced the challenging time of the ongoing pandemic; in which we could not hold a planned conference shortly before the start in 2020. To avoid of this experience again, we decided to “play” it safe this year, as virtual conferences have inevitably prevailed and become a routine by finding their way into our everyday lives now.

Finally, it is the express wish of ARSHI's board to support young colleagues and therefore we keen to give emerging researchers an appropriate segment in the conference sessions in which they present their ideas, projects and researches. The best submitted 3 abstracts will win a valuable prize, let it be a surprise!
